Fayiz Alsani
Fayiz is a son of Palestinian parents who were forced to seek refuge in Jordan due to the unrest in their homeland. He came to Ireland over 23 years ago to begin a new life. After his studies he graduated from Mary Immaculate College and then from the University of Limerick with a Master’s degree in English.
He became an Irish citizen in 2011 and has a strong desire to give back more to Ireland and particularly Roscommon where he has now lived for a number of years. It is for that reason that he put himself forward to act as your voice in Roscommon County Council and to highlight your issues and concerns. He is proud to represent Aontú and our values.
For the last 6 years he has been employed to help people in Roscommon who have fled locations of war and violence. In the years since moving to Roscommon Fayiz has become embedded in the issues that concern the people of the Boyle area. He is acutely aware of the many challenges faced by so many families in Roscommon
