I have always believed in speaking out when something is wrong and giving back to the community. Over the years, I have been involved with Bunscoil an Iuir, volunteered at the youth club, played underage hurling, and now volunteer for a local Head injury charity. I simply love people and community.
I really feel that our society has been failed by Stormont. Working people feel penalised and overlooked and see little benefit or reward for working.
Charities have to beg for every penny and are doing the work of government. Issues such as housing have never been addressed despite politicians knowing for years we were in crisis, and they simply refuse to discuss immigration. I want better for my children and grandchildren. I accept that many of our young people will leave Ireland to travel but I want us to build an Ireland that they will want to come home to, I people that people want change and I am proud that Aontú can give people a credible alternative at the polls.
