We, the undersigned, oppose this shocking use of Belfast City Hall by some Council parties to project their pro-abortion propaganda. Sinn Féin and the SDLP on Belfast City Council voted to light up Belfast City Hall for the so-called ‘International Safe Abortion Day’. There is no such thing as a safe abortion. Each abortion ends the life of a child.
Aontú supports the right to life of every living human being. We want a truly humanitarian approach to families in difficult situations. We believe that every mother should have the support necessary to raise her child to their full potential.
We note with disappointment that Sinn Féin and the SDLP have u-turned on these key principles.
