Liam Reichenberg, Slieve Gullion

Liam is proud of his deep family roots in South Armagh. Although he grew up in New York, his mother’s family has called this area home for generations, giving him a lifelong connection to the people, heritage and traditions of this community.

While Liam had the opportunity to build his life anywhere, he chose to make his home in South Armagh. Together with his wife, who is from the area, they are raising their five children in the community they are proud to call home because they believe there is no better place.

Having managed different businesses in Dundalk, Liam understands first-hand the challenges facing local businesses, workers and families. He knows the importance of supporting enterprise, creating local jobs and ensuring our border economy has the opportunity to thrive.

Liam has been an active voice in local campaigns to improve life in South Armagh. As a member of the SOS Daisy Hill Committee, he is working alongside local people to protect and strengthen services at Daisy Hill Hospital. He also serves on the Board of Governors of a local school supporting local education and helping create opportunities for the next generation.

For Liam, politics is about service. It is about listening to local people, standing up for South Armagh and delivering practical results.
