Anna Daly is married to Brian and mother of five children. Originally from the North Side of Cork City, now living in Blackrock since 2007. After having worked in the electronics industry for several years, Anna took a career break to stay at home and focus on her young family. During that time, she was involved in her children’s schools as part of the Parents Association and also in various fundraising events and social activities at the schools. In 2005 she co-founded Cork New Life Media with her husband Brian, which led to the first fully licensed Christian radio station to air in the Republic of Ireland. This Christian Community radio station first broadcast over the airwaves on 93.1 Life FM on 16th March 2008 and was recently awarded their next 10-year license from the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland in 2018. Anna is passionate about the community in Cork and believes that the strength and the benefit of building strong communities are vital to the social and economic fabric of our nation. Anna has been dedicated over the past 10 years to advocating for community and voluntary groups and acknowledging the work and the contributions that these groups make to benefit the city as a whole. When people work together in unity and focus on a common goal, anything is possible.
