Daniel Connolly is a teacher, father of three and proud Keady man who has always called Armagh home. After growing up close to the border, Daniel studied, worked and lived in Coleraine, the United States and London before returning home with his wife, a nurse who came to Ireland from overseas, to raise their family. Daniel is passionate about education, restoring our health service and ensuring young people have the opportunity to build their future at home.
A border man who wants to remove the border, Daniel is a strong supporter of Irish unity and wants to help build a confident, prosperous and free Ireland. His own family experience has also shaped his approach to immigration: it must be legal, properly controlled and accompanied by contribution and integration. He campaigns for thriving local businesses, safer communities, affordable housing and greater investment in Armagh, and entered politics to offer a fresh voice and a positive vision for the next generation.
