Aontú is delighted to announce that Becky Kealy has been selected to contest the general election in Cork North-West for the party.
Becky was chosen last night at an Aontú Corcaí Selection Convention at which she and Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín TD spoke.
Following the convention, an Teachta Tóibín stated:
“Aontú is delighted that Becky Kealy has been chosen to stand for the party in Cork North-West.
“We want to represent those without a voice and work constructively to further our objectives of economic justice, regional balance and development, Irish unity and the right to life.
“Going into the next general election, Aontú will have a host of candidates who will build on the great work that our activists have already undertaken since our foundation only a few months ago.
“With Becky and all our candidates, we will continue to develop our organisation across the country and engage with communities to create an Ireland that we can all be proud of. We will strongly counter the establishment parties that have all too easily abandoned so many people. We are determined to protect communities and families that struggle greatly to make ends meet”.
